Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 May 2026

In short

We collect only the data needed to deliver our training programs and improve our website. Website analytics is anonymous — IP addresses are hashed and no personal information is collected without your explicit consent. We do not sell your data to anyone.

1. Introduction

Print Pathshala (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.printpathshala.com, enrol in our programs, book a counselling call, or contact us — and how we use, store and protect that information.

This policy applies to all visitors and learners interacting with our website and services. By using our website, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect two types of information: information you provide directly, and information we collect automatically when you visit our website.

Information you provide directly:

  • Full name, mobile number, email address, city
  • Educational qualification, current status, college name
  • Course interest, batch preference, how you heard about us
  • Payment information (processed securely by Razorpay; we do not store card details)
  • Any other information you voluntarily submit through enquiry, call booking, or registration forms

Information collected automatically (website analytics):

  • Pages you visit and the time of each visit
  • Approximate location (country, region, city) derived from your IP address
  • Browser type, device type and operating system
  • Website that referred you to us (e.g. Google, Instagram, WhatsApp)
  • An anonymous visitor identifier stored in a cookie

IP addresses are hashed (one-way SHA-256) before storage — we cannot recover the original IP from the hash. We do not collect names, emails or any personally identifiable information through analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To deliver our training programs, send batch updates, and provide placement support
  • To communicate with you about your enquiry, registration or payment
  • To process payments and issue receipts
  • To improve our website, content and user experience based on aggregate analytics
  • To send important announcements about our courses (you may opt out at any time)
  • To comply with legal obligations under Indian law

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use a small set of first-party cookies to make the website work and to understand how visitors use it. Specifically:

  • pp_vid — an anonymous visitor identifier (valid for 1 year) used to distinguish new vs returning visitors. Contains no personal information.
  • Session storage — a temporary session identifier that expires when you close your browser tab.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies and do not share your browsing behaviour with advertising networks. You can clear these cookies at any time through your browser settings; doing so will not affect your ability to use the website.

5. Third-Party Services

We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for the purposes described:

  • Razorpay — to process course fee payments securely.
  • IPinfo.io — to convert IP addresses into approximate country/city for analytics. We send only the IP address; no personal data.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS S3) — to store images and other media we display on the website.
  • Email providers (Gmail / SMTP) — to send transactional emails such as enquiry confirmations and registration receipts.

These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. We do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information (registrations, enquiries, call bookings) for as long as you remain associated with Print Pathshala and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting and reporting requirements.

Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 24 months and then aggregated or deleted.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time — see section 8.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted database connections, hashed IP addresses, restricted admin access, and secure password storage.

No system is perfectly secure. While we follow industry best practices, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you become aware of any breach, please notify us immediately at info@printpathshala.com.

8. Your Rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or outdated data
  • Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential processing at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@printpathshala.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, you must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before submitting any personal information to us. We do not knowingly collect data from children without such consent.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or communicated to registered learners via email.
